For those unfamiliar with this television series I refer you to our previous post "Bloodlines".
In this episode a delusional acquaintance of Detective Jane Rizzoli tells her that he likes computers, although he was not able to use them for a while. He did however, read a lot about them while he was at "Bridgewater State". Our first thought was that he had been a student at the university, but of course we quickly realized he meant that he had been at The Other Bridgewater State.
This detective show ran from 2010-2016, but we just discovered it on Netflix - kind of Cagney & Lacey meets Elementary. Part of its appeal to us is that it takes place in Boston.
In the episode "Bloodlines" the homicide team investigates the murder of a Wiccan practitioner who was burned at the stake. One of the victim's coven is torn between her strict Christian upbringing and her new interest in witchcraft. Ultimately her internal conflict gets her sent to "Bridgewater". Those of us in the know know this means specifically Bridgewater State Hospital which part of the Old Colony Correctional Center.
