According to The Buzz Around Bridgewater this marker at East/West Bridgewater town line on Rt. 106 is at the geographical center of Olde Bridgewater (where Center Tree used to stand) before Bridgewater was divided into four towns now Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, and Brockton.
